Why is Nutrient Status Important?
The answer to this question is quite simple. To maximize your wellbeing, avoid chronic disease and illness, and obtain peak physical and mental performance your micronutrient status is important. Our testing does not focus on the misleading measurements obtained by standard blood testing (which rarely measures the items we measure). Standard tests measure the concentrations of items outside of cells–this is called the serum level. What you really need to know is the level of these items WITHIN cells, where critical metabolic processes occur. Intracellular measurements is a better reflection of your body’s ability to absorb, transport, metabolize, and utilize nutrients. It’s a good indicator of your overall health!
What Conditions Can Be Affected by Micronutrient Status?
- Sports Performance
- Fatigue
- Mood Disorders
- Weight Management
- Migraines
- Stress Tolerance
- Heart Disease
- High Blood Pressure
- Inflammation
What
What Do We Test For?
We use a proprietary technology that measures how well micronutrients function in the body, rather than simply measuring blood levels of these nutrients. This is called functional testing. We measure 31 vitamins, minerals, amino/fatty acids, antioxidants, and metabolites. They are all important in the production of enzymes, hormones, and other substances essential for proper growth, development, wellbeing, and peak performance. In other words, every athlete, student, and individual with a demanding, high-stress job should have these tests.
The testing measures:

What Happens If I Have Deficiencies?
If you are found to have deficiencies, we will offer targeted recommendations to address those deficiencies. We may recommend precise amounts of specific nutritional supplements that can be found in any health food store or nutrition center. In cases where absorption is a concern due to digestive issues, IV (intravenous) vitamin therapy may be recommended.
